Learn about problems facing local watersheds, how stream health is monitored, the ways you can help protect regional water quality.  $30 materials fee.

Shop for historic apple trees and other treasured plants to enjoy for years to come.
Pre-ordered trees must be picked up between 9 a.m. and noon.  Unclaimed plants sold at noon.

Biomonitoring/SMIE Training Class.  10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Blue Ridge Community College, Arts Room 106.  Designed for new volunteers and as a refresher for current volunteers, training covers aquatic insect morphology, identification and sampling protocol. Adopt-A-Stream Hands-on Training.  10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at ECO conference room.  Designed for new volunteers and as a refresher for current volunteers, training covers Adopt-A-Stream protocol, manual review, field survey and habitat identification protocol.
