The Green River Game Lands consist of more than 10,000 acres along the Green River in Henderson and Polk Counties. Owned by the State of North Carolina, the primary purpose of the Game Lands is wildlife conservation and management.
The 16 miles of trails in the Green River Game Lands are a joint project between the Environmental and Conservation Organization (ECO) and the NC Wildlife Resources Commission.
